LENIHAN, Sr. Eilís O.P., (formerly of Dominican Convents at Griffith Avenue and Wicklow), October 19, 2019, (peacefully) in Santa Sabina House, Cabra. Deeply regretted by her sister Olive, brother-in-law Pat, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, her Dominican Sisters, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Dominican Convent, 204 Griffith Avenue, on Tuesday from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock. Removal on Wednesday, October 23rd at 2.15 o’clock to the main church at St. Mary’s Dominican Convent, Cabra, arriving for Funeral Mass at 3 o’clock. Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery.

 

Sean McDevitt, ( Wicklow Heights, Wicklow Town, ) 16th October 2019, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Loving husband of the late Philomena and loving father of Tony, Paul, Martin and Sharon. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Isabel, Beth and Frances, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Sean will be reposing at his home in Wicklow Heights on Thursday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm with removal on Friday morning at 9.15am [walking via St. Patricks Road] arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town, for 10.00am funeral Mass, followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery. Leslie Martin of the Old Post Office, Rathnew and late of Sandymount, Dublin who passed away suddenly on October 11th 2019 at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Susan and much loved and loving father of Sinead, Ciara, Aoife, Ailish and Leslie. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his 12 adored grandchildren and great grandson and by his sister Terry, sons in law Patrick, John, Brendan and Paul and daughter in law Lynda, extended family and friends. Leslie is predeceased by his parents Montgomery and Eileen and by his siblings Paudie and Ethna.

Removal from the family home on Tuesday evening at 7.15pm to St Joseph’s Church, Rathnew, arriving for reception prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11.30am followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery.

Bernard (Bernie) Corkish of Mount Carmel in Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on 4th October 2019 at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Maura and his brother Stephen. Loving husband of Geraldine and much loved father of Teresa, Linda and Geraldine. He will be sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren, siblings John Paul, Ernie, Finn, Joseph, Carol, Denise, Brenda, Mary and Patricia, sons-in-law, extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Bernie will repose at home from 4pm on Saturday afternoon. Removal on Monday morning at 9.20am to St Patrick’s Church via the Market Square arriving at 9.50am for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

A peaceful passing with his family, and held in loving kindness by all the staff and residents at Knockrobin Hill Care Home, Wicklow Town. Greatly missed by his children Kenny, Judy, Myles and Louise, daughters-in-law Madelaine and Antoinette, sons-in-law Trevor and Steve; and his grandchildren Finn, Clare, Laura, Owen and Ava Li. Lovingly remembered by his wonderful friends – old and new.

 

Gone to sweep his beloved Oonagh off her feet, all over again.
