The death has occurred of Mary (Philomena) Doyle (née Browne) on 22nd January 2021 in St Vincent’s Hospital. Late of Glenvale Park, Wicklow Town. Formerly of Ballinvalley, Barniskey and Clogher, Ballymacelligott, Tralee.

Mary passed peacefully in the presence of her children in the loving care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, who showed so much empathy and care to her and us. For this we will be forever grateful. She has at last gone to join her much missed beloved husband Jim after a wait of 15 years. She also joins her recently deceased sister Jo, brothers Jer and Bob, and her many sorely missed friends.

She will be so missed by her loving family Marian, Larry, Irene, their partners Jim, Chris and Anthony, and her brothers John and Tom. Also, by her 6 grandchildren who were the light of her life: ‘my boy’ Conor, ‘my little red head’ Rachel, Hope, Lily, Zoe and Rhea, her many nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.

Due to current restrictions, a private family Funeral Mass will take place in St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town, on Monday 25th January at 11am. The Mass will be streamed live via: www.wicklowparish.ie. Burial afterwards in Barndarrig Cemetery. Please adhere to social distancing and wear face coverings.

Tricia Frost (Roche) Late of St Laurences Rd., Wicklow. / Tinahely, Co. Wicklow. Adored mother of Pippa and Finn. Daughter of Pat and Christina Roche. Loving sister of Marian, Pat, Barbara, Finbarr and Nicola, grandchildren Aurelia and Oren, son-in-law Limoz, partner John, sisters and brothers in-law.

Cremation took place on Friday, 22nd January.

Due to current restrictions a private family Mass will take place on Tuesday, 26th January, at 12 noon in St Kevin’s Church, Tinahely.

Sarah (Sally) Cahill of St Manntan’s Close, Wicklow Town and late of Glenview Road and Wicklow Co Council who passed away on Monday 18th January 2021. Predeceased by her mother Christina. Sadly missed by her loving sister Caroline and her husband Stephen, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Brown Michael (Wicklow, late of Malahide) January 15, 2021. Beloved husband and life companion of Mary. Loving and much loved father to Finnian, Cormac, Donnchadh and Sarah, together with their partners. Treasured grandfather to Roísín and Fionn, Lena and Malachy, Clara and Sadhbh. Also his sister Joan and niece and nephews. He will be sadly missed, forever loved and joyfully remembered by his family.

 

Michael’s funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, 19 January, at 10am in St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow, in accordance with current guidelines and will be streamed on www.wicklowparish.ie. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The Irish Heart Foundation.

Martha (Peg) Keogh née Quinn of St Laurence’s Road in Wicklow Town who passed away Sunday 10th January 2021 peacefully at home in the loving care of her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent and brother Frank. Dearly loved mother of Agnes, Paddy, Jo, Therese, Nicky, Margaret, Michael, Vincent, Edee, Ann-Marie and Sean and adored grandmother of her 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, sons in law, daughters in law, extended family and friends.

Removal from the family home on Wednesday morning at 9.30am at walking pace, via the Market Square to St Patrick’s Church, arriving for a private family funeral Mass at 10am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Susan Smullen (nee Dickenson) of 18 St. Dominic’s Road, Wicklow Town passed away peacefully in St. Colmcille’s Hospital Loughlinstown on 7th January 2021, following a short illness. Beloved wife of her late husband Michael. She will be sadly missed by her son Damien and his wife Maria, grandchildren Thomas and Michael, sisters Beth, Ella and Monica, her sister-in-law Mary, her nieces and nephew, loving extended family and wide circle of friends.

FAULKNER Lyla (Elizabeth) (Late of Dublin 7 and Wicklow Town, member of the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and the National Council for the Blind) Dec 30th 2020, Suddenly. Beloved daughter of Kathleen and the late George, beloved sister of Shay, Ken and Aoife and beloved partner of Sean. Sadly missed by her family, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Nannette Barlow née Jameson of Wicklow Town and formerly Rathnew who passed away unexpectedly in her 86th year on Tuesday, 29th December 2020, peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy and son-in-law Conal Kavanagh. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Miriam and Kiara, son Brendan, grandchildren, sisters Mary and Peggy, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, extended family, good neighbours and friends.

A private Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, 2nd January, followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery at 12 noon approximately.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
