Peacefully at home, on the 19th January, after a long illness bravely borne and in the care of her loving family and dedicated carers. Beloved wife of the late Philip (Phil) and much loved mother of Mary, Breda, Trish and Sean. Pre-deceased by her brothers Jimmie, Pat and Brendan. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, son, sons-in-law Ken, Mark and Hugh, daughter-in-law Demelza, grandchildren Eoin, Andrew, Ross, Kate, Alice, Mikey, Philip, Aimee, Paddy, Jake and Aodhán, great-grand-daughters Lily and Ally, sisters, Carmel, Patricia and Rita, brothers JJ and Liam, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Evans, Ivor John (Friars Hill, Wicklow Town)

Passed, peacefully, surrounded by his family, shortly before his beloved Chelsea kicked-off on 12th January 2022. Forever cherished by his wife of over 50 years Noeleen and forever loved and missed by his children Angela, Ivor, Annaliesa, Michael and Megan; treasured grandfather of Mia, Aaron, Piper and Seren. Lovingly remembered by his brother Ernest, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, partners, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and wider circle of friends.

Joan Hastings (née Long) of Crinion Park, Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully on January 1st 2022 in the care of the Blainroe Lodge Nursing Home. Sadly missed by her loving son Brendan and his wife Suzy Addis, grandchildren Amelie and Charlie, sisters Colette Cheles and Eileen Kavanagh, extended family and friends. Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband Lewis, parents Tom and Mai and brothers Tom and Michael.

Angela Mulligan (née Connolly) Glebemount, Wicklow Town and late of Belfast, Co. Down)

29th December 2021 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Loving wife of the late Terence, sadly missed by her loving sister Margaret, nephew Paul and his wife Geraldine and Sinead and John, relatives and friends.

Nicholas (Nick) Healy of Darragh Park, Wicklow Town and late of Coolawinna who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 22nd December 2021, at home following a short illness fought with courage and dignity surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret (née O’Rourke) for 52 years and much loved and loving father of Debbie, John and Mandy. Sadly missed by his family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Joe Hanlon and Paul Vickers, daughter-in-law Tracey, sister Noeleen, extended family and friends.

Nick was predeceased by his mother May and siblings Sheila, John, Betty and Tommy.

Nick will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 2pm until 4pm on Sunday 26th. Removal from the family home on Monday morning at 9.40am (via St. Patrick’s Avenue and St. Patrick’s Road) to arrive for Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

James (Jim) Vickers, Wicklow Town and formerly of Glenealy, Co. Wicklow. 20th December 2021, peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Anne (Nan), daughter Mary, sons Donal and Seamus, granddaughters Caoimhe and Ava, daughters-in-law Carol and Gina, brothers Johnny, Paddy and Denis, sisters May, Vera, Bernadette and Rita, extended family and friends. Reposing at Brennan Woulahan Funeral Home, Avoca Road, Rathdrum on Wednesday, 22nd December, from 6pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11.30am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glenealy, walking from Ballyfree Terrace at 11am. Burial afterwards in Glenealy Cemetery.

Philomena (Phil) Clarke formerly of Kilmainham, Dublin and Newton Park, Wicklow. (Retired teacher Muckross Park College and Dominican Convent Wicklow). Friday, 17th December 2021, peacefully in the care of Kinvara Nursing Home, Bray in her 96th year. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother Fintan, sister-in-law Patricia, brother- in- law Jim Murtagh, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
