Peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Evelyn and Mary, brothers Willie and Tom, sisters-in-law Marie and Patricia, brother-in-law Jem, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Mary Hernon (née McDonald) of Friars Hill, Wicklow Town and formerly of Rosanna, Rathnew, Co Wicklow died peacefully at home in the presence of her family on Friday 22nd July 2022 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Desmond and family friend Molly Horan. Much loved and devoted mother of Joseph, Michael, Kathryn and John. Deeply regretted by her siblings, Helen, Joe and Cora, daughters in law Mary and Sally, son in law Hugh, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, carers and friends.

Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Tuesday morning for 10am funeral Mass followed by burial in Redford Cemetery Greystones.

Passed away peacefully at Knockrobin Hill Care Home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving parents Peter and Jane Driver and daughter Teresa. Sadly missed by his loving wife Christina, sons Peter and John, daughters Margaret and Miranda and Christine, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Removal Tuesday morning from his home Castle Street at 12.30pm (walking to Market Square and then driving to McCrea’s Chapel, Dublin Road, Wicklow for 1.00pm Funeral Service, 

Born 1925, in Ringsend, Dublin, died peacefully at home, aged 97 years on Saturday 16th of July 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Cora (née Devlin) and pre-deceased by sons Séan and Billy. Much-loved Dad to Maureen, Brendan, Joan and Damien and adored Papa to his 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by daughters-in-law Christine, Mary and Jill and sons-in-law Michael and Gary, extended family and wide circle of friends.

 

A wonderful family man, John will be reposing at his home 2 St. Manntan’s Road, Wicklow Town ( A67FK80) this Sunday from 12.00 noon to 7.00pm. Removal Monday morning at 9.15am to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town (walking via New Street and Main Street) arriving for 10.00am Funeral Mass. passed away peacefully on Sunday 10th July 2022. Predeceased by her husband Shay. Sadly missed and remembered by her loving children Nigel, Nicola, Mark, Carolyn, Sharon, Brian and Jeanna, sons in law, daughters in law and 21 grandchildren, whom she adored, sisters Kathleen, Maureen, Margaret, Carmel and brother Teddy, nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her siblings Don, Bob, Mick and Joan. Also greatly missed by her companion Gerhard.

Victor (Vic) Curtis late of Wicklow Town, Kilcoole, Co.Wicklow, Finglas and Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, died suddenly on 18th June 2022. Beloved husband of Shirley, adored Da of Gavin, Victoria, Rory and Jamie, loved and loving Grandad of Rua, Theo, Maisie, Gabriella and Daphne, lovingly remembered by his sister Barbara, son-in-law Rik, Rory’s partner Róisín, sisters-in-law Bridget, Jean and Sheila, brother-in-law Barry, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Removal from his home on Friday (June 24) at 9.30am, walking to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town (via South Quay) in a New Orleans inspired procession, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray. Concepta Connolly (née Niland) of Wicklow Town and late of Annaghbeg, Sligo who passed away on Tuesday 14th June 2022 suddenly but peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Sean; she will be sadly missed by her children Cormac, Michael, John, Sinéad, Mary, Ronan and Mark, siblings Dymphna, Theresa and Cáit, sister in law Mary, daughters-in-law Anna, Khek and Serena sons-in-law Barry and Brian, grandchildren Isabelle, Alannah, Kate, Jana, Hugo, Indie, Conn, Jack, Lauren and Sean, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her siblings Peter, Carmel and Myra.

Concepta will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, in Wicklow Town, from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal from the family home, walking on Saturday morning at 10.40am to St Patrick’s Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.
