Michael (Mick) Merrigan, late of The Brickworks, Milltown South, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow who passed away suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday 21st December 2022 at St. Vincent’s University Hospital after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents, James and Kathleen, his brother Seamus, and his sister Breda. Loving husband and best friend of Anne, cherished and loving Dad of Catherine and Fiona. Sadly missed by his sister Maria (Fairley) and her daughters Elaine and Niamh, sons in law Patrick and Karl, brothers and sisters in law, cousins, extended family, neighbours, and his wide circle of friends. A special thank you to his dear friend Michael Cullen and the wonderful Oncology team at The Beacon Hospital.

 

Mick will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town from 2pm until 4pm on Monday 26th December (St. Stephen’s Day). Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Tuesday 27th December for 11am funeral Mass, followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully in the outstanding loving care of wicklow Hospice doctors nurses and all the staff. Thank you.

Bernard will be deeply missed by his brothers Eamon, Gary and Graham sisters Lorraine and Catherine, brother in law Brian, sister in law Linda, nieces and nephew’s Conor, Fergus, Fionnuala, Claire, Barry and all who loved him.

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 13th December 2022 in the wonderful care of Knockrobin Nursing Home, Wicklow. Beloved wife of the late Des McCoy. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her children, Robert and Jean, daughter-in-law, Katja, her adoring grandchildren, Robbie and Mark, brothers, Tommy, Oliver and the late John. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

KATHLEEN BUNN (née Kerr)  Lanesboro Street, Roscommon Town and formerly of  Wicklow Town.  6th December 2022.

(Peacefully), after a short illness, in the devoted care of the South Westmeath Hospice, Athlone. Beloved wife of the late John, much loved Mum to David, Sarah and Catherine and adored Gran to Seán, Laoise and Eoghan. She will be very sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Carol, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Helen Russell (née Dunne) of Dunbur Road and The Mariner, Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 3rd December 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of James, much loved and loving mother of Joanne, Vicki, Claire and Suzanne and adored nana to her 12 grandchildren Alex, Max, Jack, Zach, Ruby, Oisín, Lucas, Elliott, Sam, Éabha, Alfie and Joe. Sadly missed by her sons-in-law, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and friends.

Kathleen Reburn née Kennedy of Wicklow Town who passed away on Friday 25th November 2022 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tommy). She will be sadly missed by all her loving family, sister Mary, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and many friends.

John Doyle of Saint Laurence’s Park, Wicklow Town who passed away Sunday 27th November 2022, peacefully at his home. Predeceased by his loving wife Angela (née Dunne), parents, Samuel and Emily Doyle and siblings, Serena, Paul, Nicholas, and James. He will be sadly missed by his son John and daughter Wendy, grandchildren Cian, Eoin, Ethan and Sam and by his sisters Margaret and Anne and by his brothers, Michael and Tommy, daughter in law Erin, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Don Hodgkinson of Castlefield, Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully on Sunday 27th November 2022 at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary and brothers Kenny and Rodney. Sadly missed by his children Ger, Ken, Veronica and Garry, brother Tommy (Australia) and by his 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, Donic’s partner Tommy, daughter in law Annette, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sinead Cahill née Walsh of Seafield, Wicklow Town and formerly of Crumlin, Dublin who passed away on Monday 22nd November 2022 peacefully, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Tommy and siblings Eric and Laura. Much loved and loving mother of Stephen and Denise. Sadly missed by her loving family, siblings Raymond and Lorraine, daughter-in-law Mary, sisters in law Therese and Bernie, grandchildren Conor, Cara and Dillon, extended family, neighbours and friends.
