James (Jim) Hollingsworth of Rathnew who passed away peacefully on Friday 17th February in his 95th year in the wonderful care of the Wicklow Hospice staff and surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved parents Mary and John (Jack), wife Bridget (Bid), son Derek, granddaughter Gail and siblings Mary, Michael, Jack, Paddy and Tom.

Sadly missed by his loving son and daughter, Sean and Margaret, daughters in-law, son in-law, grandchildren, great children, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Jim will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Batchelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 3pm – 5pm on Saturday 18th and 3pm – 5pm on Sunday 19th February. Funeral arriving at the family home (the Rock) on Monday 20th February at 9.30am, proceeding at walking pace to St Joseph’s Church Rathnew arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by interment in Rathnew cemetery.

 

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice, Loving wife of the late Denis, predeceased by her Father Ned , Mother Nan, brother Mikey and granddaughter Mia. Sadly missed by her daughter Joanne, sons Darren and Paul, grandchildren Ronan, Alex, Emmet, Clara, Sean and Chloe, son in law Decky, daughters in law Amelia and Niamh, brother’s and sisters Mary, Robert, Deirdre, Beth, Phil, Rita, Essie, Eamon, Jackie, Yvonne, Sean and Earana, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Anne will be reposing at her home in Seaview Heights, Rathnew on Sunday afternoon from 2.00pm , with removal Monday at 12.00 noon to St. Joseph’s Church Rathnew arriving for 12.30pm Funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Michael passed away peacefully on Friday 27th January 2023 and was reunited with his son Simon, parents Jim and Monica and brother Stephen. Words cannot express the loss being experienced by Maura, Louise, Kevin, Annie and by his extended family and friends.

A gathering for family and friends will take place in Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town on Tuesday 31st from 5pm until 7pm.

Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Wednesday for 12 noon funeral service to celebrate Michael’s life.

A private family cremation will take place at a later date.

Patricia (Patsy) Sullivan née Cullen of Glebemount, Wicklow Town and formerly Inchicore Dublin who passed away on Wednesday 25th January 2023 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Daniel (Donal). Sadly missed by her loving sister Mary, brother Noel, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Saturday morning at 11am followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery.

Mary Brien (née Cash) John’s Mary, 24th January 2023. Peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of the late Johnny and Elizabeth Cash, loving mother of the late Johnny and Mary Sindy. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband John, sons Denis and Bonner, daughters Lizzie, Bridge, Nan, Nellie, Maggie, Kathleen, Ally, Jackie, Sharon and Louise, 2 daughters-in-law, 11 sons-in-law, 41 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, extended family and friends.

 

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road Bray on Wednesday afternoon from 2.30pm. with removal at 3.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow arriving at 5pm. Leaving Wicklow Church on Thursday at 4pm to Aidan Murphy Funeral Home, Gorey for reposing from 5pm to 6pm, and leaving on Friday morning at 11.30am to St. Michael’s Church, Gorey for Funeral Mass at 12md. followed by interment tin St. Mary’s Cemetery, Enniscorthy at 2pm.

Adrian Healy of Rathnew who passed away on Monday, 23rd January 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Loving son of Bridie and the late Ray and much loved brother of Fiona, Ronald, Lorna and Ray. Sadly missed by his family, partner Annette and her daughter Megan, brothers in law Sean and Roger, sisters in law Lisa and Belinda, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Adrian will repose at the family home from 4pm until 7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Removal on Thursday at 1 pm to St Joseph’s Church, Rathnew via the Men’s Shed arriving for 1.30pm funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

William (Billy) Cullen of St Manntan’s Road and formerly Glenview Road and New Street Wicklow Town who passed away in the company of his son Billy Jnr on Saturday 21st January 2023 in the loving care of Wicklow Hospice and previously St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Annie and brother Gerry. Sadly missed by his loving wife Carmel (née Kavanagh) sons Adrian and Billy Jnr, daughter in law Tisha, grandchildren Zayden and Chad and his mother Josephine, siblings Sheila, Rena, Anne and John, extended family, friends and his faithful Bugsy.

Funeral arriving to the family home on Thursday morning at 9.40am and then proceeding to St Patrick’s Church at walking pace via St Patrick’s Road to arrive for 10am funeral Mass followed by private cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Margaret (Rita) White née Wall of Dalkey and formerly of Newbawn Co Wexford who passed away on Wednesday, 18th January 2023, peacefully, in the loving care of Knockrobin Hill Care Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat (formerly Glenview Road, Wicklow Town). She will be sadly missed by her loving family, son Albert, daughter in law Min, grandchildren Amelia and James, siblings Matthew, Peter and Kitty, sisters in laws, brother-in-law, neices and nephews, extended family and friends.
