- Matters arising:
Congratulations to Fr Donal on his new role as Episcopal Vicar for the area south of Dublin. The PPC ensured him of our continued support in the future.
- Child Safeguarding
We have received a lot of returns due to expiry dates or errors. It was suggested that we pre-populate the forms before handing them out again.
- DLS Centre
New planting at centre is a huge improvement and looks fantastic. There was a query about regulating the heating in the centre, but as the system is so old – its not possible at the moment. We will investigate the cost of a new boiler that could be zoned.
- Summer Review
General feeling is that everything went well over the Summer. The Abbey Mass and Famfest were a great success, and the Blessings of the Graves were much better with the soloist.
- AOB
Historical Pamphlet – Bernie produced a sample of one which was very appealing to everyone. It was suggested to put Mass times/details on the back of it and also to include an acknowledgment to John Finlay on it.
In Loving Memory Board
People in favour of the idea of it, we agreed to think about it and maybe get some costings – perhaps the Men’s Sheds could get involved with this project
Parish Assembly Report
Each member to choose at least 4 items from the list for discussion at the next meeting.
Ticket Sellers Needed to sell tickets for the Christmas Raffle draw at the Christmas Market.
Agreed Minutes will go up on the website from September 2019.
